A Girl's Guide to Dive Bars

That was the title of the book that I talked about for years (17!) but never wrote. Along came technology. I said I should write a blog for what I like to do best: find dive bars, drink beer, eat food, talk, hang with the locals. The years went by. The ribbing from friends continued on my lack of effort. Not lack of research, mind you, but writing. So, after writing a blog for my husband during his cancer battle (all's well now) I decided to take the plunge and finally write about bars, beer and tasty treats. Beats writing about cancer any day! But it's not just the beer, it's life along the way. It's the people that make America the Beautiful. The blue collar workers, the crazy ladies, the fishermen, the veterans, the students. You and me.
And the guide isn't just for girls anymore.
